Did anyone watch Susan Sarandon on Cspan last night?
She was at some conference maybe sponsored by New York Times.

She said a few interesting things. She said she only watched the first season of survivor that last show. And thought it came down to the sneaky liar (Richard) and the woman who had a hard time lieing. She thought for sure no one would vote for the sneaky liar who had lied to everyone. Well sure enough Richard wins and the people who voted for him said it was because he was open about the fact that he was a sneaky liar and they respected that.

And then she said a few weeks later the we had our election (2000) and the same thing happened! (which the audience laughed)

She also said that the democrats are ball-less! And we should be raising more of a stink about Alberto Gonzales.

BUT you admit it, it's ok.

It's similar to when someone does something stupid & people get hurt/killed. The perp then weeps (preferably on camera) & says "I'm sorry. I didn't mean for this to happen. I only wanted to _______. I didn't mean to hurt anyone." And they think that that should negate them of their responsibility in the matter.

Damn! What the hell happened to the integrity of the people in this country?

~~edited for spelling

3. you forgot a key element: conspicuous jesus
weeping and apologizing doesn't cut it. but wear jesus on your sleeve as well, then you've got something.

5. actually, the gonzales thing is good....
the mockery of decency that both condoliar rice and this goofball gonzales represent cannot help but strengthen the opposition....while dragging the busheviks deeeper into the 'doodoo'
the white supremists have everything they want with the situ, but they don't like it! 'goddam liberals! why are they letting this happen?' seems to be the unspoken wotldview that the less stupid bushevik mediawhores have been exhibiting lately...hahaha
