Bush "had to have known" about steroids and did nothing...
several articles in today's New York Daily News....http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/baseball/ say that Jose Canseco's new book outs George Bush, when he was the managing partner of the Texas Rangers, as knowing of the steroid abuse and doing nothing about it. Who'da guessed?

1. Why would he do anything about it?
Cheating in order to win? Hell, he probably encouraged it! Why would he be any different in his "business" dealings than he is as a politician?

(rhetorical questions, of course)

2. Roid Rage = Refer Madness
I was int bodybuilding for about 10 years.
During that time I got "On the juice"
I used mainly Decca Durabolin,Sustanon 250, and several other drugs.
I had huge gains in size and strength, but had to work out like a mad man to get it.
All this talk about the extreme negative health problems is a joke.
It is just like the "Refer madness" propaganda put out by the government.
I felt no negative side effects other than a little depression when I got off the stuff.
If the stuff was that horrible, athletes would be dropping like flies.
It is however HIGH time the public wakes up!
I can't believe it took this long for sports fans in this country to realize that all their "Idols" are getting a little help.
steroids have been the "dirty little secret in sports for a long time.
Pro athletes have been jabbing a needle in their asses and getting paid millions of dollars to do it.
The average sports fan would FREAK OUT if the knew how rampant this epidemic was, hell just in local gyms throughout the country, I'd be willing to bet that most guys that turn your head have had some sort of "Help".

3. How young were you when you started?
I would hate to think that kids feel that have to use before they are old enough to evaluate the benefits/risks. I would hate to think kids already know they have to use to succeed. I hate bush's hypocrisy most of all...he did everything there was to do and then becomes holy. As a former baseball fan, I hate the way the record book is now a sham, unless you think this goes back to Babe Ruth's time.

4. Bush must have known the book was coming out
when he started his call for baseball to do something about steroids. He was already innoculating his self against the book.

These people leave NOTHING to chance. You gotta give them credit. They are damn good at having a cover answer. No matter how bogus or insane the cover answer actually is, they have one. When Conseco's book comes out, the answer will be from McClellan, "The president is already on record saying baseball needs to clean up it's act."
