No more AOL News Message Boards after Feb. 9th?
I just received an email from a friend I met some years ago on the aol boards. I finally had to leave those boards...it was TOO nasty for me. I haven't been there for over six months. Now from the email I understand that the News Boards will be discontinued. Anyone else hear this?

I guess if that really IS the case we will have to be on the look-out for a lot of new freepers for awhile at least.

Also, I am wondering if this is the BushCo's first step in trying to control online political communication.

2. I don't know about AOL news boards, but...
They've been making changes to other boards. Another I post on isn't getting deleted but is going to an entirely different format.

3. lately negative posts about Bush have out done positive posts.
I have noticed that recently the number of negative posts about Bush out number the positive posts about 3 to 1. It use to be the other way around.
