Good bye Democratic Party. It's been swell.
Tonight on CNN's Capitol Gang, the lowest of low, worst piece of shit ever, traitor to his country, Republican puke, Bob Novak quoted my Democratic Senator, Joesph Lieberman, to support his (Novak's) opinion that the Alberto R. Gonzales should have been supported as Attorney General. Then Bob stated that my Senator, Joesph Lieberman, gave the BEST speech in favor of the nomination on the Senate floor.

Why should I waste my time and money supporting Democrats when they are slime sucking whores just like the Republicans? While they kiss ass to get 3 more votes from the "center", hundreds of good Democrats are getting fed up and leaving the party to join a more progressive group or to just fold up and quit.

It's just Lieberman? Let's not forget that the DEMOCRATIC party made Senator Joesph Lieberman their candidate for Vice President just 4 years ago. Can they suck any more ass?

Fuck Bob Novak
Fuck Joe Lieberman
and
Fuck the Democratic Party

Is Democratic Underground just for Democrats? or are liberals like me allowed.

1. You can hang around
But leaving now is like jumping out of the ocean right before the perfect wave comes.

But if you don't want to surf that's cool.

2. You are entitled to your opinion
But I don't think you are being rational.

If you are going to dis all Dems, then what will the Senate be like without Barbara Boxer?

No one can understand what is with Lieberman...he's screwed up...
a real bad apple. But don't judge the whole party by one (or two or three) nuts. I really do think things are changing. We've got Dean running the DNC. Boxer, Kerry, and other Democratic senators are really starting to fight, and we've got people like Soros who are trying to build us a better infrastructure. It'll take time, but I think its worth sticking around to see what happens.

6. Why bother coming here if you hate everything about the Democratic party?
This is the DEMOCRATIC Underground. That would be like me going to Free Republic and hanging out just to insult the intelligence of everyone there. What's the point? Why not find a board with people who think like you?

7. Who cares what Novak thinks.
And I am sure he would be THRILLED to know that his opinions were instrumental in causing dissent within the party. That is probably just what he had hoped for.

10. I don't like dems like Lieberman.
And I'm not timid at all about voting for a 3rd party candidate I support. I WILL NOT however EVER vote to support any Republicans. You have your appeasers/WHORES like Lieberman but they are not representative of the Democratic Party's base.

11. Novak does that to goad
Just as they loooove ol' Zell. It's just a (not so) clever way to frustrate the majority of Democrats.

Please don't give Novak the power to turn you from this party.

14. Your allowed and welcome to me.
Now that the fog of partisanship has been lifted from your eyes, perhaps you can now get down to the business of looking at our "political process" anew. No matter what moniker a politician has after his name, it all comes down to self-interest to most of them. There are very few who remain idealistic after serving(?) in Washington. We must begin to vote the man, not the party. Problem is, today many people with liberal/progressive leanings, feel that the Democratic Party is our only hope. I'm not so sure. They will have to prove themselves individuals first before I vote down party lines again.

BTW, there's a world of difference between Zell Miller and Joe Lieberman. I've said this before, but if Lieberman looked and spoke like John Edwards, he'd be President right now.
