Ward Churchill handing Paula Zahn her skinny white ass on CNN.
Wow...I am having a hard time keeping myself from flinging the remote at the TV.

She is continually trying to put words into his mouth..."You said this...you said that.".

He is keeping his composure quite well. He's quite sharp. Making her look like the fool...and remaining very calm while she's ranting.

Well done Mr Churchill. Well done.

Don't you just love the witch hunt going on here? I live in Denver...and know that Dan Kaplis started all this on his local show. What a piece of Bushite that guy is. It's like children running around turning in everybody to the thought police in order to gain favor from the powers that be.

It's not "what is coming?". It's..."hey everybody...it's here.".

Excuse me...I must go wretch.

1. Could you provide a little context?

Please!

On Edit: I didn't recognize the names as being that of the person who made the 9/11 comments. Nevermind.

and she came across as the cross-eyed she devil that she is. I can't stand her night after night.

His statement regarding how our own government refers to the death toll in war and of innocent Iraqs as 'collateral damage'...but when our own are killed as possibly the same 'collateral damage', it is seen only as terrorism.

P.S. I wish I had gone to college!

3. I doubt that her arse is skinny
I suspect it's quite muscular.

I also wonder why its whiteness is relevant.

5. I have no opinon on fashion
To me, all colors and designs go together.

Paula Zahn does have fabulous legs, however. Too bad her politcs are obnoxious.

10. Poppy Bush thought so, too.
According to Kitty Kelley's book, that is.

18. My wife pointed that out to me.
That may be the only good thing one can say about Poppy's taste.

11. I agree
It is disappointing to see disparaging and demeaning comments based on women's appearance here when what we disagree with is their positions. Otherwise it really does make DU look petty at times. What does the color of her blouse and the material it is made off have a anything to do with the content of the interview. Character assassination and distractors are flawed tools no matter who uses them.
Reverse the position and just think what could be said about Ted Kennedy, or Helen Thomas. Keep it to the ideas and positions and we will all have more credibility.

13. I was being facetious....
Edited on Fri Feb-04-05 09:44 PM by Buddyblazon
sorry that that needs to be explained. Obviously from my original post...the subject is actually about her ridiculous behaviour in a pseudo interview of a mind far in excess of her own.

But the "turquoise suede" comment was an attempt at humor. If you do not find it humorous...my apologies.

On edit:
Actually...if you have a hard time lightening up...the only thing I feel sorry for...is you. Now I apologize. But your comment about MY obvious attempt at humour...actually pisses me off.

Have a great day! ;)

15. Chill
You are right. Its been a long week, I should have recognized the humor quotient in your purple suede comment.

However, some of the threads are more than catty and really do make DU look like a high school gossip board at times.

Think this calls for another glass of Merlot.

16. And I apologize too...
I literally just got off the phone with my conservative father. The first thing he brought up was Mr Churchill.

Going to LQ to get myself a 12 pack. I'll write back in a few hours...and after un-needed self medication, I'm sure I'll be less apt to blow a fuse.

Again, sorry. Hugs and the secret Liberal handshake. ;)

8. I think she's been watching too many LA Law reruns....
it's seemed more like a cross-examination than an interview.

I'm watching "Groundhog Day" on We. Nobody showed it on Feb. 2.
