Good News (and thank you)!
Several months ago, I posted a story that my son had been dropped from the medicaid program in North Carolina, despite the fact that he has had a history of catastrophic and ongoing health problems. We appealed this decision and just learned today that the decision was overturned and his medicaid has been reinstated. The timing is especially fortuitous because our son is scheduled for surgery again later this month.

Thank you all for your supportive posts and emails--they meant a great deal to us.

3. That's great news!..Hopefully things will get better....
I worry about this all the time too. My brother has cancer & is on medicaid & I'm on edge all the time worrying that it will be taken away due to the Fed cuts.

Good luck.

4. That's great news!!!!
I know how important good medical coverage is, being that I am an 11 year cancer survivor. Glad to hear that your son will be able to get the surgery he needs.

Good luck!
