Did my eyes deceive me?

I watched every painful minute of the SOTU speech. After * introduced the soldier's grieving parents, and mother and Iraqi hugged (and had an apparent wardrobe malfunction), the camera cut back to the mother and she was holding a large paper clip. I asked my wife if she saw the same thing, and she did.

I do not have any Tivo or tape of this, but I need to ask if anybody else saw this?

their jewelry got stuck together. I didn't see it, but I heard someone reporting it today.

2. Blue paper clip

I taped it and replayed it back a number of times. It sure looks like a blue large paper clip. She was also wearing a blue dress by coincidence. The military families hate the chimp. The resistance is building. Keep the momentum up!

3. Good, I'm not nuts..

..I knew the paperclip stood for something when I saw it, but was unsure of what. A quick google search educated me and had me appreciating the woman.
