How Do We Fight Against The MSM's Iraqi Election Propaganda?
What's our strategy? All I hear on TV is, "freedom, freedom, freedom, success, bush was right, things are going to well, freedom, success, democracy, success, freedom..."

How do we fight against that? How do we show Americans that in the grander scheme of things this election is meaningless & Iraq is still a disaster, and at the same time detach W's name from being synonymous with "freedom and democracy"?

1. wait a week
the war will rage on, and the media blackout will drop down, and attention will be diverted to Michael Jackson jury selection.

Regarding what we do, we should contact them and demand they continue to report on Iraq.

6. Less than a week, I think
The insurgents have a two point strategy. First, disrupt the elections, with their bombs and rockets and suicide vests, and that part is done--they scored a few hits, and plenty of misses. Their second strategy is to go after anyone who voted...the old "hunt 'em down and kill 'em" strategy, first made popular by a guy who looks like a monkey. That's what is yet to come. If I were an Iraqi who voted yesterday, I would hope I would have bought plenty of ammo the day before, that I had my brother and a few uncles to keep watch on the house, and had banded together with my neighbors on my street to establish a neighborhood security perimeter.

Then, there are the casualty figures. When the weecowboy came on TV for his brief YEEHAW IRAQ VOTE announcement, he remembered to make mention (probably because he was TOLD to so do) of the dead Brits and Americans that have died during this election. You have to figure the number exceeded a dozen...he wouldn't even mention the thirty some odd kids that died in that helo crash, and was irritated when questioned at his last "press conference."

Notice how there has been an embargo on casualty figures? They're gonna slide those out when everyone is watching the Apprentice, or some other lameass show.

You can hide Iraqi dead, but it is harder to hide American and Brit dead. The more that come home in aluminum personnel transfer tubes, the more families there are to speak out, once they get past the worst of their grief.

2. Turn the teevee off. It's not hard. No 'news', no 'information'. Just
watch shows for entertainment...

Turn the teevee OFF.

4. Well that's all well and good, but while you turn the TV off...
millions of Americans are keeping it on. That's the problem.

3. I just don't care anymore. I have my media blaster & my fax machine and
my snail mail. I will just keep writing LTC's and elected officials.

weeks - you know, when the bloodshed continues and, probably, intensifies.

BTW, has anyone heard anymore about the British C-130 plane that went down this morning? If it's discovered it was shot at by a surface-to-air missle (and debris is scattered EVERYWHERE, which lends one into thinking that the plane exploded mid-air), then I shorten my prediction to two days.

Edit: here's a link, but it's old now: http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&cid=1503&ncid=1503&e=2&u=/afp/20050130/ts_afp/iraqbritaincrash_050130173950

8. Just turn your teevee off. We knew they would do this so it's no surprise
The First Fool will brag about this non-event and the Sheeple will believe him. What will completely surprise them is when our economy crashes and that is directly related to this illegal war.
