Bush* speaking so soon may backfire on him.
The results are not in for the voting, only the speculation of percentage of voters who voted. This all-too-soon response to this DEVELOPING STORY could backfire. Talk all day mr. bush*>

1. Jumping on the air waves sure looks like a sign of desperation to me.
People are starting to question his war, feel the pinch of the cost, asking if it was really worth it.

2. If he slips up and says something stupid
like he usually does, the Free Press will be there to spin it for him and make him look as if he had a brain in his head.

3. Actually, from a pr standpoint, I understand speaking now.
Get it in before the next attack and at least you'll get some airtime.

6. Bush should keep a low profile today and make Iraq look independent
Studid arrogant move by Bush to get credit even if it makes Iraq look even less independent and legitimate.

Any credit for today goes to the courage of the Iraqis who voted - some who died in the process. Bush's appearance cheapens their sacrifice and courage.

12. He's going to try to use the "free elections"...
...as cover to give the illusion that the war is over. Why? To drum up support for the war with Iran.
