John Kerry on MEET THE PRESS today
Now discussing the Iraq elections - post your observations here!

"You have to behave as though you really are at war."

1. "The world is less safe today than it was 2 1/2 years ago."
Too bad Kerry voted to give Bush authority to invade Iraq in the first place...

2. Too bad you blame the IWR instead of Bush who didn't FOLLOW the IWR.
If Bush had followed the IWR, then weapons inspections would have revealed no reason to invade Iraq.

Keep blaming the iWR and those who supported it, and you let Bush off the hook.

4. Iraq War Resolution.

The thing that Kerry was dumbshit (or chickenshit, depending
on your POV) and voted for that gave Bush permission to invade.

6. The resolution that said weapons inspectors FIRST and then if they find

cause, the president can enforce a military option.

If that resolution had been implemented honestly, there would be NO invasion.

Blame Bush. Blaming the resolution is absurd.

7. Actually, it didn't.
It said it would be nice to find weapons, but regardless, Bush has the authority to send troops to Iraq.

Read it. I was actually surprised to find this out myself recently.

9. Sorry, but you still don't get it
Kerry actually trusted Busholini to follow the rules of the IWR. Bush didn't follow the rules. Invasion resulted. And the Repugs had one more thing to beat Kerry over the head with in 2004.

11. "no automaticity"
Negroponte was running around the UN telling everyone there was "no automaticity" in 1441. If you have read it you know how vague and oddly worded it is. The UN obviously had questions about what it meant so Negroponte told everyone this phrase. As soon as it passed they changed their tune and said (HAHA!) it DOES have automaticity in it, that's what we meant by it.

BTW- WE are in violation of 1441. W&Co. refused to turn over any and all information relevant to inspections which violates item #10.

8. Kerry says he lost because of 9/11
I suppose if anyone would have uncovered the real story, it may have helped. What really happened that day?
Kerry looks a little puffy. He must have gotten the collagen/botox thing or else Theresa socked him.

13. I know - it's lame
Kerry's our Senator, but they've preempted MTP in Boston. Instead they have live coverage of a New England Patriots rally. ARGH!!! :argh:
