Gerald Flurry? Religion, Politics & Propaganda
Flipping through the channels 10 minutes ago, I saw some video and photos of an anti-Bush or anti-war protest. "Hmm..is this Free Speech TV perhaps?" I thought. No. Imagine my surprise to see a televangelist next, and he -- Gerald Flurry -- began speaking about the protest video.

This is what he roughly said:
The country is divided..what are we to think about this? Well the Bible tells us what to think about it. Jesus told us..in Matthew 12:25
Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand.

He then said that you can disagree with Bush that there are many out there in our country who hate him, who seem to hate him worse than Saddam..and then something about how even on the family level, a house divided..leads to divorce.

**********
Does this guy have tax-exempt status? How blatant does this have to be in order to lose that status? Are any groups actively working through the courts to fight this nonsense?

Incredible.

1. Of course he leaves out the part of the scriptures
where it says blessed are the peace keepers.

3. Was it peacekeepers or peacemakers?
Because I think he'd probably have some weapons to show as examples, if it were the latter..?

2. Another False-Witness Christian
My condolances to those who make a sincere effort to walk with Jesus.
