Campbell Brown/MSNBC: "You get the sense something ugly is brewing"
Edited on Sat Jan-29-05 08:49 PM by Bluebear
Reporting live from baghdad 2 hours before the polls open: "Iraqis have a hushed anxiety that something violent is going to happen."

I am hoping for peace, fearing it won't be so and it's all very distressing.

7. Cambell should be at home with one of her boy toys...not in Iraq.
Cambell shouldn't be in Iraq. she needs to be home in bed with one of us cute little 19 year olds. Campell is a hottie whio needs to get herself a boy toy, Desperate Housewives style.

14. That would be you, & not Campbell - one of the few showing us the truth
of the evil that resident dry-drunk, illiterate, moronic thief-of-two-election thefts twerp in is doing to that country.

And no you're not cute. Desperate but by no means cute.

10. Wow, Campbell Brown really must have some great sources
Shit, how did she ever figure out the Iraqi people might be nervous about violence on election day? How much of this bullshit do we have to take from MSM?

15. This is a lose -lose for dems. As long as some people vote and
not everybody dies; Bush will declare a victory. There is no truth in anything he says. The news just lets him get away with it.

Let me describe the scene on the ground here in “liberated” Iraq.

(snip)

Policemen and Iraqi soldiers are trying to convince people to stay in the city and vote.

Nobody is listening to them.

Whereas Baghdad is filled with Fallujah refugees, now villages and smaller cities on the outskirts of Baghdad are filling up with election refugees.

(snip)

“They can block the whole city and people cannot move,” says a man speaking to me on condition of anonymity, “The city is dead, the people are dead. For what? For these forced elections!”

(snip)

“I’d been in Fallujah for a week and all I’d seen was tough military tactics,” he tells me, “They are arresting people and putting them in these trucks, blindfolded and tied up. Everywhere I looked all I saw was utter devastation.”

(snip)

“Then today, the military brings in a dozen Humvees and ground troops to basically seal off a small area near a market,” he continues, “In the middle of them is a CNN camera crew filming troops throwing candy to kids and these guys in orange vests start cleaning the streets around them.”

(snip)

“All of it was 100% staged. Good PR before the election,” he says. Then in a reference to mainstream America he adds, “Fallujah is fine, now go back to sleep.”

These people are monsters. I just had a horrible vision of bands playing as people are marched into Nazi deathcamps. And almost all of the media is not only letting him get away with it, they are helping him.

FOX. CNN. :puke:

Kudos to MSNBC for having/showing Campbell and not trying to snow us with CNN's faked footage of "joyous crowds" or FOX's black lies.

saw someone with a gun and they started shooting everywhere despite being told to stop. Yikes.

18. She's nut's! You couldn't pay me enough! I think...
the reason Matthews is talking like he had one too many caffeine cocktails is because he's nervous! He's a tool of the propaganda poopers...there is no arguing that point! However, I do believe he is not happy about this war and the situation Shrub has got us into! I think he's talking crazy because he is stressed out of his mind! You can think what you want about the MSM (I happen to think they have betrayed the American people) but I really feel that some of these guys are still human. Emphasis on SOME. This is what war does to mankind. It transforms. It dehumanizes.
As for you cute, young vibrant boy toys...nice fantasy. I think Campbell is a bit uppity and slightly prudish, though. Might not be as much fun as you'd like! But hey- keep those hormones a hoppin'! Peace!
