I would try to talk to her and ask her why she feels it is ethical to torture another human being. Walking someone through their *rationale* sometimes can lead them to see the fallacy in their thinking.

I would suggest being calm and understanding when you talk to her. Use reflective listening skills (repeat what she says but not condescendingly). Ask questions and reframe what she says in such a way it becomes apparent that racism and hatred are fueling her emotional position.

If she fails to see how illogical she is being, at least recommend to her to keep those thoughts private so not to embarrass herself or insult others.
