A friend e-mailed this to me and it seemed worth sharing.

Make sure to click on the video link in the upper right corner of the
page for some NBC coverage of the motorcade speeding up to avoid
protesters. You won't want to miss Brian Williams, John Siegenthaler,
and Andrea Mitchell hysterically trying to downplay the significance of
the massive booing and anti-Bush chanting. "They're just a tiny
minority, folks! Now here's Andrea Mitchell in a flatbed truck to show
you some smiling, waving rich people! HURRY! CUT!"
Incidentally, that's one of the same flatbed trucks that came by 14th
and Pennsylvania later on and was met with almost as much booing and
chanting, even though that wasn't an "official" protest "site." Does
anybody know whether any of that ever made it on the air? They'd have
had to go to some length to pretend it wasn't happening--although, as
you'll see when you view this clip, that's exactly what they were
prepared to do.
