Papantonio are on AirAmericaRadio every Sat and Sun at 6PM EST(I think). Their show is called "Ring of Fire".
I live in NYC and I am looking forward to his being the AG of NYS and Spitzer being the Governor.

2. He says some BRAVE things
particularly when you remember the fate of his father and uncle.

He gets the corporate threat, I love that. I'd support him in a heartbeat.

"While communism is the control of business by government, fascism is the control of government by business," he writes. "My American Heritage Dictionary defines fascism as 'a system of government that exercises a dictatorship of the extreme right, typically through the merging of state and business leadership together with belligerent nationalism.' Sound familiar?"

There are very few Democrats (with any kind of national voice) that would make this statement.

11. I was so glad he said this
That is what we're up against here, folks: Fascism, pure and simple.

The more people start calling it what it is, the more we might be able to wake people up to what's happening.

Don't fall in the trap of calling Bush et al., Nazis, though. Nazism is a form of fascism, but not the only example of fascist government.

Focus on what RFK Jr. says here when calling the Bush junta fascistic.

4. I'm in NY state and for them 100% its about time we get some
real Democrat voices in Albany. Our state government is broken and needs to be fixed.

5. RFK, Jr. for AG in New York? Ok by me.
Do any of you New York-area DUers know what George Pataki is up to?

Is he running for president or re-election to the statehouse, or what?

It wouldn't bother me one bit to see him out of political power as soon as possible.

9. His book Riverkeeprs is excellent
It provides one of the best models for what the environmental movement should look like and some great commentary about the approach environmentalists should be taking.

Personally, I'm sick of the Sierra Club, PIRG and all the rest allowing their agenda to be set by a small number of wealthy families that give out grants through their foundations. It's sad that almost the entire environmental movement revolves around chasing money from a small number of very wealthy grant-makers.

10. Its ironic you posted this

I just saw a two hour documentary on RFK (the original) last night on BBC4.

Speaking of Bravery... there was one incident in California where he was riding down the street in an open vehicle... he was stood up shaking hands with everyone as they went by... he had no secret service or body guards.

There was a sudden series of loud bangs that sounded exactly like gunshot... it turns out someone had let of Chinese fireworks, RFK flinched for a second but then went straight back to shaking hands.

Compare this the * who needed an Tank Limo to protect him from verbal abuse and snowballs.

Sorry to change direction a little but I just thought this was a stark contrast.

12. I've said it before
and I'll say it again: There's just too much dirt in his background. It's not just that he was addicted to heroin. Any race that he enters will be a total circus, and a Cuomo Kennedy race will be beyond ridiculous. RFK is doing excellent work as an environmentalist. He should continue that work and stay out of elective politics.

13. OK...let's start counting them...
I mean the very few Democrats who are willing to stand up to the Republicans.

In the last couple of weeks or so:
Sen. Barbara Boxer
Sen. Ted Kennedy
Rep. John Conyers
Sen. John Kerry (kinda-sorta)
Robert Kennedy(not a politician -- yet)

I can't think of anyone else who has made a strong statement against Republican policies except the above.

If anyone can add some, please remind us of what they said.BTW, I would not only support Bobby Kennedy, I would actively work for his campaign.

I THINK I trust Spitzer, but then I trusted Schumer and Clinton. How did I know they would both turn out to be such centrist duds?

14. RFK, Jr. is also on the board of this Big-Brotherish business
along with William Bennett and Jack Kemp.

In doing some research about election fraud, I turned up this:

http://www.cts-america.com/board_of_directors.asp

Consolidated Technology Solutions is all about huge databases and Homeland Security.

"Consolidated Technology Solutions (CTS), also known as SmartCOP, Inc., rapidly adapts and modifies complex integrated systems that allow its users to access real-time information and utilize increased functionality that enables a safer, more effective and more efficient operation.

Along with its sister company Smart Citation Management, CTS engages in system development, implementation and support services involving public safety, first responder, homeland security, citation management, child protective services, data aggregation, fraud reduction and selection and evaluation analysis."

http://www.cts-america.com/company.asp

I don't know what to make of it, but I do know I inherently mistrust this kind of product.
