3. NYC would be good
and probably the best bet since it's the most influential. San Francisco would be another.

Too pretty a place for them.

10. D.C. is about the most blue place in the country
Edited on Sat Jan-22-05 08:24 PM by DeaconBlues
It went nine to one to Kerry and Gore. The only problem is like during the Civil War its susceptible to invasion from the knuckle-draggers in the South.

structure.

We are trying to preserve the Constitution and Bill of Rights - we believe in the structure that exists and that has been improving for 200 years. We are the keepers, therefore we get to keep Washington - unless it is going under water from the iceberg melts.

17. Tell me more.
Is this part of his plan to win back West Virginia for the blue? Which bureaucracies has he moved, and how is a minority senator managing to do this?

21. Chicago!?
Good lord, I hope it's not Chicago -- I grew up there, and no city in the country has corruption quite as florid as Chicago's, even to this day. It may be a Democratic stronghold, but it doesn't mean people are any less screwed in Cook County then in your typical Red State.

And San Franciso's TOO far-left for general representation, though it'd be a great cultural capital!

I'd think that a place like New York City or Philadelphia or even San Diego would fit the bill. Economic powerhouses all (yes, even Philly).

26. We would be separated like Gaza and the West Bank
The Left coast Blues and the Upper East Blues with all of that Red no-man's land in between.
Not anymore workable here that it is in Israel
But, come to think of it, Liberals have much in common with Palestinians these days
