Iraq vote date--It's not Bu$h's call damn it!!
Power has been handed over already, remember?
If the Iraqi interim government decides to move the voting day then they have that right...technically.

When shrub squawks, "The voting will go on as scheduled" the American public just nods along without question.
Where are the reporters that should be asking what are the Iraqi's going to do?

Having said all that I realize the msm is bought and paid for just like the interim government in Iraq. I am just pissed off at the lack of fundamental knowledge floating around regarding Iraqi "elections". They made a big deal about "handing over power" but you wouldn't notice by the way king shrub babbles on.

1. Unfortunately AWOL keeps using his ...
stay the course, I was not wrong, this will be the turning point (and this time I mean it), arrogant, pigheaded approach to things.

His inability to (honestly) assess a situation, and develop a reaction appropriate for that situation will be (or already has been) the undoing of this country.

Cheers
Drifter

3. The funny thing is
Iraq is having an election set up by the biggest threat to Liberty and Democracy in the world...."bush the lesser". You couldn't make this stuff up if you tried.

2. We are headed into a Potemkin election with fantasy candidates
in secret polling locations and secret vote counting. Expect a Soviet style result: 99% of the elctorate ( 200 people or less) voted for our man Allawi. This man Bush abases everything he touches with no shame whatsoever.
