OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. - An Oklahoma judge facing removal over charges that he masturbated and used a device for enhancing erections under his robes during trials said on Wednesday he would retire from the bench.

Creek County District Judge Donald Thompson, 57, wrote to Oklahoma Gov. Brad Henry resigning effective Sept. 1, a move that will allow him to retire with a full pension.

Former Representative Mike O’Neal also ran into trouble early in session when he was accused of sexual battery after confronting a woman in an Oklahoma City hotel. O’Neal, a Republican from Enid, was sentenced to 30 days in Oklahoma County Jail while still receiving his legislative salary.

reported it. Others claimed to have seen it, but there is no mention of anyone else being fired, nor does the article mention if she was ever reinstated to her job.
