Horned hands everywhere - Quayle, Amy Grant, etc.
Okay I have heard that this is a Texas thing but...

What does Dan Quayle have to do with Texas?

Or Amy Grant?

And how about this montage - Clinton, Liz Taylor and McCartney say "I love you" (note the extended thumb) but the other three say ??

1. Are you sure some of those aren't photoshopped?
I don't know why Clinton would be holding that 'hook em horns' sign up.

6. Clinton's and Liz Taylor's
are the American sign language shorthand for I love you. Notice that the thumb is out, not -on- the folded 2 middle fingers.

45. Without the thumb extended, it's the sign of the Satan.
Believe me, if a Dem were giving this sign without the thumb extended, Pat Robertson, Falwell, and Dobbson would be all over it. Their silence must mean they are also bowing to the Satanic regime in place.

had an affair that broke up TWO MARRIAGES. Maybe she is the Devil?

Afterall, isn't ADULTRY a SIN according to their "standards"?

Maybe that's why she worhips the Devil's Sign?!?

If your favorite school had a big 666 in their logo would you flash it for all to see? I would think these hyper-sensitive hypocritical religious extremists would scorn anyone giving the sign of the devil.

The University of Texas has had the "Hook Em" sign since the 1836.

I don't think people actually equate the Hook with a devil sign unless they are UNAWARE.

Independence in 1836, statehood 1845, first university 1876. I could be wrong but I don't think Sam Houston was throwing the horns at Santa Ana.

I think it's just that they are morons.

Not to mention the cowardly candy-assed way they got into the Rose Bowl. Pussies.

The Texas Longhorn symbol is represented by the image on the bottom. The first image Represents the horned god of witchcraft. Pan or Cernunnos. Note the thumb under the fingers and given by the right hand. The middle image is a sign of recognition between those in the Occult. When pointed at someone it is meant to place a curse. Note the thumb over the fingers and given by the left hand.

I thought the last one was "Hang Loose" or something

I just don't see justifying a known sign of the devil as being ok to do just because it's a school thing. You don't see schmucks from Florida State doing the tomahawk thing in the middle of an official public gathering do you?

I just think it all leads to the fact that they are minions of the underworld. The false prophet is our president.

gesture for the Longhorns, or even the state of Texas, as representatives (albeit, unelected) of the United States?

This gesture smacks of the frat boy mentality that pervades the Bush Adminstration and is extremely inappropriate for a so-called "head of state" to be using outside the occassion of a football game or a white trash barbecue.

42. Yes. I've seen Bush use it. He used it during his 1999 run
I even have a photo of him at home during a pro-Bush rally where he gave that sign in the midst of a "Satanists for Bush" rally (or at least that's what the signs around him said). I'll dig it up when I get home.

I've been keeping an eye on this since 1999 and the information is not encouraging.

I think I recall that photo of bush being taken at some sort of graduation or something and as I recall he was giving that sign to some of his skull and bones crew. Perhaps that's there "Secret Sign"?

As for the rest, that's just I Love you in sign language. But the thumb foward isn't I love you. Out, it is.

29. Part of it
is because there have been so many Texans in DC and they could be acknowledging those people. I have lived in Texas my whole life and have NEVER heard anything about it being a devil sign. Making the Longhorn sign is second nature here, so don't read more into than there is. Not EVERYTHING is a conspiracy.

I'm Sicilian and thought that's what it meant, too. Checked with my Dad tonight for verification. He said the first time he saw * do it, he wondered what the hell he doing that for.

Stupid a*holes need to lay off - they look freaking ridiculous waving their hands like that. BTW, The Norwegians were pretty taken aback by this hand signal since they interpret it as a salute to Satan.

OSLO, Norway (AP) -- President Bush's "Hook 'em, 'horns" salute got lost in translation in Norway, where shocked people interpreted his hand gesture during his inauguration as a salute to Satan.

That's what it means in the Nordics when you throw up the right hand with the index and pinky fingers raised, a gesture popular among heavy metal groups and their fans in the region.

"Shock greeting from Bush daughter," a headline in the Norwegian Internet newspaper Nettavisen said above a photograph of Bush's daughter Jenna, smiling and showing the sign.
