Poll question: Best overall Progressive radio personality
Best overall Progressive radio personality.*

If I didn't mention somebody, feel free to give them a shout-out!

*Alan Colmes was found ineligible because of his lack of progressive traits of any kind, not to mention failure to complete the requirements for being a "personality".

5. I voted for Mike Malloy but I was torn between him and Thom Hartman.
They are both great...but their approaches are very different. Mike is just so passionate that you have to love him. But Thom gets to you in a much quieter more intellectual way, and I think he is better at dealing with "non-believers". It is sort of like one is the right brain, and the other is the left brain. You really need them both to function effectively.
I want them both.

8. Same here
My choice was between those two as well. I picked Hartmann.

Malloy has no hope for us. I love that about him. Maybe he does have some, but the way I hear him, he's got no illusion about what's going on.

Hartmann has no illusion either. But he still has some shread of hope. And that's what I love about him. He'll bring up some fact from a Thursday in 1644 that makes you think that humanity will end up working. We need someone that hangs onto that thread, no matter how thin.

7. I'm a huge Malloy fan
But I really look forward to Guy James on Saturdays. He has the kind of manner that I think would really go well in Indianapolis where I live if we could only get him on the air. So my vote is for Guy.
