Maybe it's because Mr. Bush figures that spending $125,000 so that he can tap his toes to high school band music is waaaaayyyy better than spending $125,000 to hire new teachers, or subsidize Sumner's full-time kindergarten program for almost a year.

I think Ken Hit the Nail on The Head

If you cant afford the entertainment then you shouldnt have the party.....I think what is pathetic is that within 3 blocks of the GALA Venues their are childern going hungry without a promise of the next meal..I wonder just how much of the leftovers will go in the garbage or be donated to meal kitchens.....most likely with the arrogance of BUSH.....NONE to the latter more than likely.
