Anybody notice Bush looked unusually barrel-chested...
Edited on Thu Jan-20-05 06:20 PM by UdoKier
as he walked in simian gait down the parade route? He looked unnaturally bigger all round the torso, back and shoulders. I'm 100% sure he had on a bulletproof vest.

And poor pickles appeared to not have anything on under her garments...

Doesn't show up well in this photo, but I thought so from the TV coverage...

He is afraid of his own people.

12. Here is the question that must be asked
Is he paranoid?

We know he is not....(Hi boys at the SS... we know that, I mean the stenography corp has reported on increased threats ok... hell we even had somebody with a car bomb just the other day in DC)

So that tells you exactly who he fears and it is not them damn fore'niers... but us the People.

If you were in charge of his safety would you let him play outside without protection?

18. I just figured that having been married to him for so long
she knows what a liar he is and decided she wasn't going to live like that.

By the way, don't former alcoholics like Bush have to become teetotalers when they quit?

19. He wore one at Yankee Stadium in 2001
On the HBO documentary about the 2001 Yankees, they show Bush putting on the bullet proof vest before throwing out the first pitch at the World Series. He was complaining that it would interfere with his delivery.

21. I'm sure he was armoured to the gills!
He was when he threw out the ball at the World Series -- and this time, he probably wanted to wear his "lucky" USS Abraham Lincoln souvenir flying helmet as well!

To be fair -- not that I'm in the mood for it today, though -- the Secret Service wants its protectees wearing vests when they're out in the open like that. But Clinton and Gore had the same gear (18-20 lbs of body armour) and they didn't waddle the way W does.

I rejoice in the fact that it makes "super-jock Bush" look plumper than he already is! If this were in July, he'd be hot and sweaty too, because those things can be uncomfortable to wear. (Unfortunately it probably kept him warm, while the protesters and homeless people were out there in the cold ... but I hope that the vest pinched him a little since he's been fibbing about how he's watching his weight.)
