its 1/20/04- Let's each take a moment to reflect back 4 years...

I wore all black on his coronation day back in 2000. I just knew horrible things were on the horizen. I had no idea how very very bad it could be.

I watched the towers fall from the roof of my friend's midtown apartment building. I distinctly remember thinking that more terrible events would come out of that tragedy thanks to bush. I also remember the way we new yorkers pulled together for each other that day.

In the past 4 years I started grad school, moved to the midwest. I went from protesting the IMF/WTO in DC to protesting the impending war in Iraq in downtown Madison. I became an internet news addict. I did my first campaign work- went to my first campaign rallies, all to try to get this fuck out of office.

So, I don't know folks. I just remember wearing all black 4 years ago and I tonight feel so very SAD and ANGRY that we are doing the same. But, I think though that a lot of good has happened too.

What were you doing 4 years ago? What's happened to you since?

1. 4 years ago I was thinking how Ronny had started alot of it.

8 years of bullshit getting away with murder and money.
As 9/11 unfolded it was apparent that what was being said about who did it and why was worse than the single bullet therory.Chimp and N.Y.C's worst mayor ever put on thier macho show and became over night heros to a nation of dumbed down booger brains.I am not a really smart guy but the bullshit that started after W.W. 2 is total humanity melt down .3 steps ahead then 30 steps backwards.That bridge to the 21st. century has become a foot path to the 9th. century,the Dark Ages with T.V. .

2. I was doing the same thing I'm still doing

....thinking that if someone doesn't put a ball and chain on this insane egomaniac, he's going to push the "red" button. The entire BFEE will be under Cheyenne mountain and when they finally emerge, they will have turned blood red, their horns and tails will have grown out, and Georgie will stand with his hands in the air crying, "It's all mine, all mine!"
