Does anyone know if Alberto Gonzales
won the nomination to be Attorney General? Have not heard anything on it. I hope not.:puke:

1. Wed or Thurs
They are supposed to try to vote it out of the committee on Wednesday or Thursday, but the Dems may try to delay it one week. Ideally the Repubs would like to get it voted out of the committee ASAP and then vote in the full Senate on Thursday. We'll see what happens...

3. don't get your hopes up
he will be confirmed
the president always gets the people he wants unless he withdraws the nomination or the nominee steps aside
the hearings are just a formality basically
