Let's compare 2nd inaugurations: FDR and Bush
From an article about some critics of Bush's excess
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A12487-2005Jan15.html?nav=hcmodule

Several sites draw unflattering contrasts between Bush and Franklin D. Roosevelt, who for his 1945 inauguration eschewed a parade and had a few people over for a buffet of chicken salad and pound cake.

See there?: Class *can* be adorable.

The image of how the Roosevelts handled themselves really impressed me after reading THIS in another Post piece:

By any objective measure, political scholars say, Bush is a name that belongs next to Adams, Kennedy and Roosevelt as a force whose influence spans decades.

The only thing about Bush's influence will last that long is the clean up!
