4. Sometimes a brain tumor can make a person act completely differently
than normal. Also say and do things they don't realize they are doing.

29. or chemical poisoning
Which IS responsible for a lot of brain tumors

If you are talking about the commonly used cleaning/degreaser chemical, 2-butoxyethanol

But then, you are only asking this as a rhetorical question

This chemical can also cause leukemia (did you know his sister died before she was 3 ... when GW was 8 years old) and it can cause thyroid cancer (from tumors) and gall bladder pancreatitis?

In fact brain tumors on the pituitary gland are fairly common, I was told yesterday by a young woman who has one ... What does the CDC know about brain tumors? really

Edited on Thu Jan-13-05 04:13 PM by Stirk
his duffel was mislabeled. They spelled his last name with an "H" instead of an "N", and they misspelled "Brian". So when they put the last name first, first name last on his bag, it was: "Human Brain". Hehe.

I even saw the duffle. He said that he used it for his entire 4-year stint, and endured constant questions from people who thought he was transporting organs for a transplant. As if they could transplant a brain. lol. Anyone who asked that question should be the first recipient, IMHO. :)

34. well
that comment brought a smile to my face

Did he get through his military stint without any 'gulf war syndrome' symptoms?

...
I think gulf war syndrome is the military term for CFS, & CFIDS so as you can imagine, I don't think 'gulf war syndrome' is time related in the military, either

& the chemical I am focusing on

causes a lot of brain tumors & other tumors, too

Just a personal study I have done to help out the country

It only took me about 6 hours a day every day for over 2 years to put the picture together, so I'm hoping someone pays attention

My theory is provable, if you check for what I suspect is the cause of the fatigue ... that the doctors don't know what it is

32. Now I've heard everything
Alternative names:
Korsakoff psychosis; alcoholic encephalopathy; encephalopathy, alcoholic; Wernicke's disease

Definition:
A brain disorder involving loss of specific brain functions, due to thiamine deficiency.

Causes, incidence, and risk factors:
Wernicke-Korsakoff syndrome usually affects people between 40 and 80 years old. The onset is gradual.

The syndrome is actually two disorders that may occur independently or together. Wernicke's disease involves damage to multiple nerves in both the central nervous system (brain and spinal cord) and the peripheral nervous system (the rest of the body). It may also include symptoms caused by alcohol withdrawal. The cause is generally attributed to malnutrition, especially lack of vitamin B-1 (thiamine), which commonly accompanies habitual alcohol use or alcoholism.

Korsakoff syndrome, or Korsakoff psychosis, involves impairment of memory and intellect/cognitive skills such as problem solving or learning, along with multiple symptoms of nerve damage. The most distinguishing symptom is confabulation (fabrication) where the person makes up detailed, believable stories about experiences or situations to cover the gaps in the memory. Korsakoff psychosis involves damage to areas of the brain. http://www.healthcentral.com/mhc/top/000771.cfm

http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/article/000771.htm

Well, if CFS or CFIDS is part of it, too, we can blame 2-butoxyethanol poisoning instead of alcoholism

His brain never developed beyond 12 years old or so. Even though most 12 year olds can articulate themselves better and they don't choke themselves on pretzels, Shit-for-Brains is a unique case.
