Fox News: Wave spelt Allah
Brit Hume just run a news piece on Fox News showing a picture of a wave from the devastating Tsunami that looked like it spelt Allah. How pathetic is that? talk about bad taste, this has to be the most ridiculous news channel ever.

Fox has gone off the freakin' deep end - literally
I didn't see the episode, but I'm imagining they're showing those swirls that the wave produced when it sucked back out to sea to gather more strength for the second and/or third blows.

Allah looks like this:

I would REALLY like to see a wave that can produce those straight lines and crowns.

for looking too much like Allah:

Maybe God/Allah/Yahweh was warning against corporate fascism - but the corporate Fascist Organizational Network (FOX) wouldn't report that.

11. I SEE IT!!!
It's a big wave, and there are swimmers in it and one guy has lost his surfboard which is flying high above his head, and one woman to to right of him is putting her body in the shape of a "W" to pay homage to the Spiritual Leader of Texas and the Christian World, and I see the multitude waving their hands and shouting glory hallelujah! It's all so clear!

He looks very much like the anchorman in Batman did after Laura Bush The Joker poisoned all the makeup in Gotham--except for what was in Vicki Vale's bathroom, apparently.

13. I can't believe it - but to be fair to Faux and Hume
A Muslim stated the wave was signed by Allah, not one of our fundies.

God signed his name in the December 26 tsunami and sent it as punishment because humans have been ignoring His laws, Sri Lankan Muslims say.

Proof, according to Mohamed Faizeen, manager of the Centre for Islamic Studies in Colombo, is a satellite picture taken seconds after the tsunami smashed into Sri Lanka's west coast near the town of Kalutara and as it was receding.

"This clearly spells out the name 'Allah' in Arabic," Faizeen said, pointing to the shape of the waves -- a gigantic "E" complete with whorls and sidewaves that do indeed appear to combine to resemble the Arabic script for the name "Allah".

23. The story was actually...
....about a Mullah on some Islamic web site claiming that he sees the word "Allah" spelled out in Arabic in the satellite picture of the waves and how this Mullah claims that this proves that the tsunami was sent as some sort of punishment from Allah. Leaving bits of pertinent information out to make those we despise look foolish often backfires. That's been part of the problem with getting our message out and accepted for awhile now.

CBS News's current situation is an excellent case in point. The truth of anything else in their story was lost because they cut corners and bypassed basic standards of journalism (ie. their failure to thoroughly vet their sources, not to mention the documents) in their zeal to get the story out quickly. So a story that should have been devastating to Bush wasn't and allowed some people to even think it looked bad for our side. Not good.

24. Reminds me of the story of the pilgrims
coming to a farm in rural Texas from far and wide because it was said there was the image of Jesus on the side of the barn, each day becoming more apparent. Until after one good gully-washer, what really became apparent was an old Willy Nelson concert poster.
