1. his contract came from the Dept. of Education
the USA Today reporter got the contract through a FOIA request.

bushco will soon shut down ALL FOIA requests due to 'national security'....

2. Just a hunch?
Or a well-informed hunch...

"At first, I thought she was joking or simply misinformed, but after talking with other members of the press, and reading reports from other journalists, I found out that the Bush Administration is routinely denying biographical information on political appointees."

10. You want a name?
Bush.

It was his pet project Armstrong was pushing. You know he told his lackeys to hire someone in the media to push it as if it were a good plan. Bush is ultimately responsible. Add this to the huge list of impeachables that we won't be able to use...

3. Rod Paige
wrote the check.

And on the Sunday morning talking heads shows today, our 'experts' in the media were already spinning their wheels on this one, saying this practice of the govt buying the media goes way back, to the Clinton admin.

So the defense is already
'Clinton did it too nana nan boo boo"

11. If the Clinton admin did this...
(a big if) it was to help us, help real Americans, not to bolster some tyrannical and useless pet project.

13. Well until I see proof
I am not going to believe Clinton did it too. This is just an old and tired argument from the right - Clinton did it too, so that makes it okay. It was wrong when Clinton did it but it's okay when shrub does it because Clinton did it too. That argument just makes me ill.

8. If Paige wrote the check - we need to trace it.
Did it come from the taxpayers or did it come from a fund?

Was it Pension money taken from the Teacher's in FL with the help of Enron?

12. If taxpayer funds, they need to be prosecuted, but it is my theory that
a good portion of missing money is being used for propaganda and stealth agendas for their secret needs such as paying off other countries and their leaders - anything that needs to be kept from us.

If they need much more money than is in a department budget and if there is a threat of oversight investigation, which money would you use if you were them?
