BAGHDAD, Iraq - The United States military acknowledged dropping a 500-pound bomb on the wrong house outside the northern city of Mosul on Saturday, killing five people. But the man who owned the house said the bomb killed 14 people — including seven children.

5. there must be more to this story than meets the eye....

The Pentagon usually insists that it has incontrovertible intel that destroyed homes, elementary schools, clinics, restaurants, and etc were "used by al Zarqawi fighters," who are undoubtedly one of the most frequent demographics in Iraq by now. Their acknowledgment that they did this by mistake likely means that someone really has the goods on the error, and any attempt to sweep it under the rug will only make them look worse. In other news, victory is just around the corner....

7. For every family member killed by Amurkan military hardware, there

are potentially dozens of new "terrorists" created, since this is such a clan based society.

It's one thing to fight an enemy, but to be killing civilians who have no dog in the fight... is something quite different.

I do know this... if my cousins or brothers were taken out by some of oh, I don't know... say Canada's "smart bombs".... I would be over the border in a matter of weeks to exact some sort of revenge, and if I didn't have an army, air force, etc.... I would at least have some kitchen utensils.

Invading Iraq has made the world safer for corporate hegemony, nothing more, nothing less. It's a shame that this world isn't big enough for all the bidnesses interested in oil production and flow to co-exist peacefully.
