I gotta tell 'ya, the chimp is MELBA
Edited on Sun Sep-07-03 12:22 PM by TruthIsAll
Here I am, spending a weekend at DU in Highland Beach, FL. I'm right across from the beach, but guess what? I am not stepping outside. The sun is shining, I should go out but I can't leave the computer. I don't have the tube on, either; I stopped watching the whores a long time ago. Just DU.

And what a weekend, with Zogby coming out with outrageously great numbers. Bush a 40% re-elect? Bush 45% ratings. And other polls almost as good.

No, I could be at the beach or at the pool, but I like it right here.
I will watch the cretin's speech tonight as well as his propaganda flick. I know I will enjoy both. Here's why:

The DC 9/11 flick was conceived long before the FREEFALL; the people will see right through the BULLSHIT. The only ones who won't will be the wingnuts who are beyond hope.

The speech will be a total DISASTER - for the same reasons. We EXPECT to hear the lies regurgitated. We will just laugh at this poor excuse for a human being every time he tells one - which we know he will if his lips are moving.

He CANNOT survive this; it is only a question of WHEN and HOW he goes down, not IF.

As I have stated repeatedly since I first started posting on Repuke Computer Fraud right after the Mid-term theft, the only thing we have to fear are those damn machines.

These latest polls tell me that a Dem landslide is within the realm of possibility. We still have 14 months to go. Bush cannot recover. I don't care how much the media tries to spin and prop him up; they can't fool the MAJORITY who want him out of there.

We've got Critical Mass
We're gonna kick his ass
I gotta tell 'ya
The Chimp is Melba

1. The wingnuts are certainly beyond hope and those damn machines
are certainly the greatest obstacle to a Democratic victory in 2004 provided the tens of millions of Americans who should never have supported the man and his PNAC dream wake up, come to their senses, and go to the polls.

2. Never underestimate Rove's depravity or unscrupulousness
I fear he has a contingency plan up his sleeve that will make 9/11 look like a walk in the park by comparison

4. GWBush could could f*** up a wet dream...
As it has been said many times before he has the reverse Midas touch... everything he lays his hands on turns to shit. He was destined to be a one term president. Unfortunately we all have to pay the price for his mistakes this time, and now the poor dem who takes office after him will spend his entire first term cleaning up the mess left behind. Dare I say shades of Jimmy Carter.

10. King Midas in Reverse
The Hollies did a tune called King Midas in Reverse it seems to fit the MF to a tee.

King Midas In Reverse

If you could only see me,
I know exactly where I am.
You wouldn't want to be me,
I can assure you of that.
I'm not the guy to run with,
Cause I'll throw you off the line.
I'll break you and destroy you,
Given time.

He's King Midas with a curse. He's King Midas in reverse.
He's King Midas with a curse. He's King Midas in reverse.

It's plain to see it's hopeless.
Going on the way we are.
So, even though I lose you,
You'd be better off by far.

He's not the man to hold your trust.
Everything he touches turns to dust
In his hands.
Nothing he can do is right.
He'd even like to sleep at night,
But he can't

I wish someone would find me
And help me gain control
Before I lose my reason
And my soul.

He's King Midas with a curse. He's King Midas in reverse.
He's King Midas with a curse. he's King Midas in reverse.

In joining the "he's toast" crew, but after today's lousy appearances by the Bushies I'm now convinced that they're playing a losing hand now.

7. Ignore the polls.
They mean nothing until the election season begins in earnest. The ads have yet to run, the dirt has yet to be digged up on candidates and the mud is still in the slings. Bush is still an incumbent with gobs of cash and easy issue on which to campaign - paranoia. A safe bet is to take any poll and add about 15% to Bush's numbers, because that's what he's going to get immediately from the "undecideds" when he unleashes his money machine.

8. 'Melba' is a tough one to rhyme
Edited on Sun Sep-07-03 01:07 PM by wtmusic
You could always try an Ogden Nash approach:

'Ratings for the Chimp aren't doing very well-ba'

or

'The country ain't buying what he wants to sell-ba'

11. This has been my belief for a long time now
Every since the invasion I knew fucknutz* was toast, I only hope we come through with a minimum of damage. This idiot has fucked up so much so deep, in such a short time and there isn't time to turn anything around, not the economy, not the quagmire. The only way for the moron* to go is down.
