Deny Russert Your Eyeballs?
If Russert is indeed shilling for Karl Rove, and NBC is indeed turning into a fancier version of the Fox Network, why not organize a boycott of them? If you are talking about a group of people the size of the MoveOn.org membership, that is probably the sort of number that would get GE's attention, particularly as most are probably well-educated, young, and reasonably affluent.

I myself never watch Russert, who comes on like a dog with a rat between its teeth. Stephanopolos is ok, Bob Schiefert probably the best of an inadequate bunch.

1. I think Russert's the best and I would not boycot him.
Although I can not recall when he nailed a Repub, I think he has in the past. I want to see him tough and treat all guests equally. I thought he was a little out of line with a couple of comments/questions he put to Dean.

2. I agree
Don't even think he was 'out of line', unless you mean asking unreasonable questions.

Dean will get unreasonable questions and he has to be able to deal with them. Russert always gave Dean the last word. In my book that's fairness.

7. "Bob Schiefert probably the best of an inadequate bunch."....I wonder if
you know that Bob Schieffer of CBS is a golfing buddy of George Bush?..I saw him on Larry King a couple of weeks ago and he admitted that his brother was involved with Bush in the Texas Rangers ball club and that he himself golfed with Bush, who he described quite flatteringly....I watched the replay of Meet the Press last night with Andrea Mitchell hosting in place of Russert...She was very good and really grilled Sen. Warner....She was very even handed, I thought!
