Face the Nation or Sell the Nation?

How could Powell be in every place today (except where Rice was, I guess)?
I watched the end of Face the Nation:

Is Biden a democrat? He hands Bush more talking points: Bush should say that this war was about influencing the situation in the Middle East not only about Terrorism and AlQaida; that we need to win otherwise it would have terrible consequences because Iran's strength would be increased!

The final words of the host: we need to win the battle against terror to protect present and future generations in America...
What is going on here? Does anybody really care about America and the world?

1. Propaganda. Also blackmail. When the White House wants
it's people on TV to lie to the public, the TV shows have to go along, otherwise the White House will blacklist them. And if you haven't noticed, US news media is all government propaganda - period. The government lies and the news media echos it. They have gotten their bribe for lying to the public - the new FCC rules.

And as for the Democrats - I've been wondering for years if they are just a token party so it looks like we have a 2 party system.

2. are you serious? Yes, most people do care about America and the world
I really don't understand your post. Biden said Bush should have leveled with America. That make's him a fake democrat?

3. What I mind is that when Bush went to war he said the main reason
was the Al-Qaida-Iraq connection, and the danger to the world that this link entailed (terrorism, etc. etc.)
Now Biden is giving him a way out by saying that we did not go for this explicit reason but to try to make a difference in the Middle East. If a Democrat is saying this, it will only benefit Bush and his side.

We have to make solid decisions now that serve to make this a safer world for all regions. Bush screwed up, badly, if Democratic advice helps stabilize that region we should be all for it.

We're winning in 2004 anyway.
