MTP: "bush does not like to be rushed into anything"
Edited on Sun Jan-02-05 10:02 AM by slor
Yeah we know. No rush from Aug. 6th PDB warning of attack, no rush when the forewarned attack begins to take place, and no rush to help the needy, be they Americans suffering here, or Americans needing armour in a war zone. But he is quick to launch a war, with your child, that is.

1. Remember how they compared him to Kerry?
Bush was known as a man who made swift & steadfast decisions, while Kerry was said to be a flip-flopper.

Well, looks like Bush just did a little flip-flopping himself. He made a decision which hit him square in the backside, and now he's flip-flopping.

Asks the Magical Monkey King.

"Lets go swing by our tails through some Texas brush".

3. That is not a quality that I value in a US president
The leader of the formerly free world needs to be able to think on his feet and react quickly in an emergency. Neither of which Bush even has a desire to be able to do.

4. new talking points were released, apparently

how many times have you seen versions of the phrase

" the U.S. has launched one of the largest disaster relief missions in history."

?

I have heard it at least 3 times since yesterday evening. And I haven't even been very plugged in for a few days.

I noticed on Kos that Holy Joe Lieberman is on one of the Sunday shows. Bet that little sycophantic lap-turd has said it a few times.

7. the bushes all operate from envy and malice. envy of the men and women who
are truly admired, truly humanitarian, truly uniters, and truly powerful because they do not need to hold power, or, an office of power to command power. they operate from malice when they attempt and succeed in painting the word LIBERAL and what LIBERALS stand for as evil. They operate from malice when they use the events of 911 to convince people that the US is/was under attack from IRAQ and proceed themselves to attack IRAQ. They operate from malice when theyuse the events of 911 to grab on to power. They operate from malice when they fabricate lies against people, as they have against KERRY and CLINTON and turn to politics of personal destruction against anyone they deem to be a political or spotlight threat to them. The bushes operate from malice when they make that which is wrong appear as good, and that which is good appear as bad. They also operate from malice when they refuse to answer questions posed to them in depositions or press conferences. They know they cannot withstand the test of truth and that is why they must oppose and suppress truth at all times.

8. He was quick to land on the carrier with, "Mission Accomplished,"
behind him in his cheesy costume. He was quick to nominate a racist judge while congress and the senate were out. He was quick to interrupt the debates to scream, "you forgot Poland, again," and "tell that to Tony Blair." He was quick to come out and scold the press after he stole another election to say he has political capitol now and he intends to spend it. Just once I'd like to be able to hear from the Bush administration something other than an excuse for their incompetency.

9. Invading Iraq, responding to 911, saying OBL doesn't concern him, tax cuts
...they all sound like issues he jumped the gun on.

11. Like Charles Winchester (MASH), he does one thing at a time, does it very
well, then moves on?
