Your predictions for the bush administration for the year 2005?
Edited on Sun Jan-02-05 12:11 AM by Bouncy Ball
Post 'em here!

Here are mine:

Other countries get more and more fed up with the US and its attitude and especially in light of sluggish response to tsunamis, start to grumble more and more openly and loudly, which means larger change America is more isolated than ever before at the end of 2005.

Something is revealed medically about bush that is not good. His approval ratings climb for about a week after that, then they plummet.

By November, he has the lowest approval rating of any sitting president, but of course the White House and the right wing media spin spin spin until the centrifugal force almost knocks their eyeballs right out.

Iraq continues to be a clusterfuck and worsens. Elections are impossible in January, February, March, April. Looks like there is hope in May, but a disastrous setback means no elections for the foreseeable future. The country is simply too unstable and there are simply not enough troops to secure it. Iraqis become more and more angry and take to demonstrating in the streets by the thousands and by fall, the hundreds of thousands. In desperation, bush makes Rummy fall on his sword, take all responsibility and resign in disgrace.

The anti-war movement in the US and elsewhere in the world gains serious steam from spring forward.

There's a dollar crisis in March.

What are your predictions? Sorry I have nothing good, after all, fucktard drunko is at the helm.

5. But it really doesn't matter....
...since the House and Senate are wholly-owned subsidies of the right wing there will be no impeachment or accountability.

Incidentally, the only way to take back Congress in 2006 is for the Democratic leadership to embrace the hip-hop culture and then fan it out to the red states. Trust me, the 20-somethings out there are waiting for the right moment to break out from the grip of Christian, know-nothing, praying-for-the-Rapture oppression.

11. In my opinion....
...the Democrats didn't try hard enough. It was a valiant effort, but it wasn't enough. Also, the Democrats should not cede red state Congressional seats because they are "unwinnable." They are very winnable if the right pressure is applied. The right pressure is to dig up the dirt and put it on the front page. If there's no dirt, make it up and advertise it as truth. If this is applied for the next two years, the House and Senate will change hands and then the administration will be held accountable for its actions.

3. This will not happen
The Whore Press is addicted to blowing Bush and kissing his ass.

Never has such a demogogue had an asskissing press as Bush.

The Press will continue to lie for him, they will also make sure that we see a lot of Robert Blake and Michael Jackson as they go to trial.

Watch Judith Miller now spin Likudnik lies about Iran and Syria as we go to war with them too...

4. What will never happen?
Just because the media spins things doesn't mean stuff doesn't happen. I didn't say the media would wake up and start covering it all honestly, I said those things would happen.

And based on what we've seen already, I don't think I predicted anything unrealistic at all.

17. I feel that there will be a backlash against the Repubs in the
South. I zero evidence, it's pure speculation, but it will be like the Republican revolution of the mid-1990s

10. I predict...
Bush will appear in public badly bruised, once again, sometime within the first 3 months of '05. This will be followed by another lame-assed pretzel/bike excuse but suspicions will be raised about his health. There will be another incident this summer which will result in MSM attention. August will be spent with tabloid-like speculation about his mental health and drinking. In September, Bush will reveal a "medical" explanation. The public will be stunned that the condition was known before the election and kept from the American people but the MSM will spin it as an act of courage. Most of Dumbfuckistan will buy this but doubts will linger.

19. my most fervent hope is that the lot of them be tried for war crimes
but even in my wildest dreams i just don't see it happening. but i fully expect bushco to wildly overreach in the coming year since they seem convinced they have a "mandate" - in so doing they will further alienate the rest of the world and all but the blindest followers.

the rest of the world may decide to cut their losses and let the dollar and the US sink into the crapper, perhaps feeling that the Asian and European markets can prevent global economic catastrophe.

in the US there will be further economic hardship, a recession if not depression.

oh - and i think bush will look for ways to shut down the internet except for "shopping" and business. he won't be able to do this of course, but he will certainly try.

1) hate to say this, but Iraq will simply fall into civil war. even more death and destruction for all involved...
2) the US economy and stock market will crash-HARD. The Dollar wil become as useful as toilet paper...
3) the GOP will split--hell it's already started!
4) some kind of national tax hike (sales tax likely), presented as doing the "right thing" :puke:

26. I see the beginnings of a new revolution
People will get sick of the bullshit coming out of his mouth and Congress will swing solidly against him. Impeachment hearing for Bush and the rest of his cabinet will begin, and by mid to late 2007 the whole lot will be sent to the Hague to stand trial for their crimes.

31. Moderates who voted for Bush will run...fast!!!!
All of those who voted for Bush who are moderates will be horrified at what they have wrought and many will run away. Look how his approval rating has fallen already, and that was before his tsunami gaffe. He is going to go down and down, and then memos re: torture and his approval will surface, and moderates repubs will not want to go down for him.

He will not serve a full term.

32. I had a premonition in 2001
that GWB would be involved in an ACCIDENT involving Marine 1 while president. With the EElect-ion the window is open for the next 4 years.

In my lifetime I have only had 3 premonitions spaced by many years. The last one, my family was talking about John Kennedy Jr eventually running for political office, I stood up and said, out of the blue, that JK Jr would NEVER hold office with all the certainty in the world. I didnt know where it came from as I would have loved him to enter the arena.

I dont think it could happen and in fact anything that would make GWB a hero I am against, so I truly hope it is fantasy.
