Bush press conference.."We grieve
for the children of this disaster and the parents of the children. We're just heart sick over it". I don't remember * ever having said that about the innocent children and parents in Iraq. The Asian Tsunami is a natural disaster. On the other hand, oh fearless leader, you spear head the tsunami in Iraq. Where are your tears for those who suffered as a result of your evil man made tsunami in Iraq.
What a phony piece of shit.

1. Just like Rummy
When the criticism gets hot, they pop up like a bad rash. Bush doesn't care...it doesn't really impact him in any way. I really feel that he sees this as an inconvenience to his vacation. That line about "sorry to bring you out, blah, blah, blah" to the press? He's only sorry that he had to act like he cared about what was going on with this disaster.

Commentators not guests on all major news networks busy convincing all Americans that we are giving 35 Million and are certainly not stingy. I guess anyone who fell for the 911 Iraq connection will buy this too.

7. Big Deal

Considering the US spends $45 million dollars on military expenditure every HOUR, $35 million doesn't sound so good...

4. The Christian edict over false prophets. This tidal wave is damning proof
If they're sick, how come they're not even spending anything real to help?

Oh yeah, Iraq, Star Warz, Iran, corporate billionaire tax breaks... those have precedence over the Christian edict is for people to be helpful to one another. $35 million to * is as "efficable" as 15 cents for each of us individually. Never mind that $35 million won't even begin to fix their own interests over there, yet alone the interests of the people they're claiming to help. Help?!

For the richest country on Earth to proclaim its Christian heritage, this is the latest example of what a disgraceful hypocracy we truly are.

5. The last question of his press conference???? WTF
I would like to see a transcript of this press conference. I thought the question started out about something about the wave and Bush started babbling about armored humvees....I may be mistaken, but I want to look at that last question...He's a doofus!

6. Clinton would have been on the air Monday night
responsive leader that he was, assuring the world that America would be there for it.
We also wouldn't be hogtied in Iraq under Clinton (or Kerry for that matter) and have the resources available to respond appropriately.
What a goober we have in the WH.

8. I agree with you on this.
And the Bush remarks were taped and edited beforehand.

MSNBC's "Terrorism Expert" now starting to blame local "terrorists" for delaying rescue and aid to survivors. Life is so simple whenever there is a problem either blame terrorism or Clinton.

11. It's all Bush's fault!!!!
By not signing the Kyoto treaty we have let more ice melt, which has increased the mass of water on the earth, which will create more earthquakes because this heavier mass will shift the tectonic plates that much more. In essence, this is Bush's Fault.

By funding the fraudulent Iraq war we don't have enough money to help the regions suffering from the Tsunami (Brought on by Bush).
