What the hell is going on ?
I got my hip boots on but the bullshit is getting mighty deep. I'm having a difficult time trying to keep above it...Bush is giving a speech tomorrow night? Rummy is speaking today. Both are ready to tell us what a great success we have had in Iraq...we just have to keep the course. But we do need the international community to help us. They need to accept their share of the responsibility for rebuilding Iraq and establishing a working democracy in the Middle East.

This will all coincide with the smelly piece of propaganda that will be on ShowTime tomorrow night. It will not show Bush following Cheney's orders to go to SAC base in Nebraska while he takes care of the national security business - as the Pentagon is bombed right under their noses...It will not spend a lot of time on his lies about WMDs or nuclear weapons or terrorists working with Saddam. It will show him in heroic form at the site of the WTC shambles days after the dust had settled. He knew it wasn't healthy to be there. That's why he was one of the last politicians to show up...

1. Re: the Showtime piece of crap...
Do they (the vast, right-wing "Rove machine" that continues to prop up Bush) really believe this movie is going to work as propaganda?

A) Who watches showtime?
B) They're using "That's My Bush" actor Timothy Bottoms (sorry, but the ecstacy episode is a rerun at my parties, as is Laura's stinky "persqueeter" episode).
C) The public's perception of Shrub can be gauged by what the late-night comedians are saying about him, which has not been flattering.

He's a lame duck. If I were RNC, I'd dump his ass quickly, because he's killed them in national politics for decades to come.

4. After reading the piece in the Guardian . .
http://politics.guardian.co.uk/iraq/comment/0,12956,1036687,00.html

. . do you really think it's just a question of another presidential election - and hoping the good guys win.

If they did LIHOP - then it's way past that now. There's no way they can let the dems back in. (Unless maybe it's one of their plants from the DLC.)

I see some real shit coming down in the next year - one way or the other.

6. Holy crap!
Is this an article in a real newspaper saying THIS!? I'm stunned. I don't know how to react? Has everybody seen this? Spread the word. This is insane.

7. I read a story about the movie last night
The producer is an unapologetic Bush fan. It's nothing but propaganda and he admits it.

Actually, it's in the middle of the tunnel, and it's going: Woo! Woo!

5. Is there going to be a Democratic response to the
horseshit he will be spewing tomorrow night? He's asking for free media time. Why can't we have a response?

9. Because we no longer have the "Fairness Doctrine"...
The opposing Party did have the right to respond when it was in effect. It was much better.

10. KKKristol tried that BS last night on Maher.
The latest propaganda edict from Rove to the Neo Con operatives must be to talk up "what a wonderful job we are doing (did?) in Iraq. The Iraqi Peoples are now joyfully embracing democracy!"
KKKristol didn't get to finish....he was interrupted by too much laughter.

Great show. Catch the rerun on HBO.
