Let's wish a Happy and Safe Holidays to the troops...
Edited on Thu Dec-23-04 10:20 AM by eleonora
...who are suffering in the name of our idiot leader. Let's think of them this Holiday season, and hope they will be spending it safely, or as safely as possible. Those poor guys are in a living hell, so let's keep them in our mind and let's wish this war ends as soon as possible.

Unlike some who would like to assume so, we are NOT against the troops. We are against the idiot who brought them there. And this is why I will not put a "support the troops" sticker on the back of my car. I DON'T NEED A STICKER to SHOUT that I'm 'supporting them' when all I do is supporting Bush -hint hint, freepers-. I'm supporting them by taking a stand against this miscalculated war.

Fuck the war, bring our troops home in 2005!

1. support our troops-send them home
give them the proper medical treatment they need for Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome. Cut the red tape so that severely wounded vets get their money now, not in six to twelve months. Make sure that NO Iraq war vet comes back stateside only to find themselves homeless.

3. My heart goes out to the troops
No place is safe over there. They can't even eat in peace. A co-workers son is over there, scheduled to come home in March. <fingers-crossed>
