Glad that Rummy didn't resign :)
While Rummy has made a mess of things, he's now out in view where everyone can keep an eye on him. He's got a lot of work to do, maybe he will actually try to get things done for the troops. He doesn't have any time to be shooting off one-liners any more.

On the other hand, if someone else takes over, they will get a honeymoon. That means probably 4 to 6 months with the shades drawn.

I prefer Rummy out in the open with no clothes. We know he is a war criminal. Keep him where he can be seen. Let him be responsible. Resigning is too easy for him.

Same with Bush*. If he lost the election, he could walk away and dump on Kerry. Too bad George, the second term isn't going to be a free ride.

1. I'd rather have security in social security.

2. Yes, but...
I sense the drip, drip is turning to a trickle!

If people will stand up to Rummy, maybe they will take on the Shrub* over Social Security.

5. Right now, I don't see how he can be too cocky...
he's got to deal with...

a. troop levels
b. prisoner abuse
c. a fund request in January
d. inadequate troop supplies
e. Haliburton overcharges
f. a draft

Rummy is going to leave Washington a broken man. He is not a fundie, so they will turn on him in a heartbeat. He's all about power, but right now that's a dog that won't hunt.

4. Rummy is the ideal opponent
Loud-mouthed, cocky, brazen, arrogant, sure of himself, refuses to admit defeat and easy to beat.

I'll jump for joy when his scrawny shriveled up ass figuratively circles the toilet bowl.

7. How about Rummy being
arrogant, trenchant, belicose, pugnacious, nefarious, ostentatious, and full of rancor. I think he is also sententious and smarmy.
