After reading the Chaplain's report from Mosul, 12/21

It makes me wonder if all of the chicken hawks in the White House would have been in active duty and in battle, would we still have gone to Iraq.

3. though i'm terribly, terribly sorry that people were killed in that attack
it's to be expected. they're going to hit our soldiers and hit them at our weakest points.

if china or russia did the same things to us that we've done to iraq -- even though i despise bush and hope someday to spit on his grave -- i would be fighting back against the people who destroyed my homeland. i would launch rockets and create homemade bombs to oust an occupying force that killed hundreds of thousands of civilians and reduced my country to a lawless wasteland.

6. Bush supporters and mouthpieces
try to tell us that the 'insurgents' are fighting against 'freedom and democracy'. They are looking for revenge and vindication. Very good point, colonel.

7. perhaps the insurgents are fighting for freedom from american
imperialism and theft of their oil.

perhaps they're fighting for democracy by hoping to spoil the u.s.-run elections there. after all, we're developing this pesky habit of not giving the presidency to the guy who got the most votes.

though i'm not for the "insurgents," i know where i'd put my money if i were a betting man. never underestimate a guy who's fighting for and on his own land.

unfortunately, a lot more good american men and women will be killed or maimed before the bush administration cuts and runs. which i believe they will before the end of w's term, though they'll do it in grand fashion, declaring "victory."

8. Do you have a link to the Chaplain's report?
It will probably be the closest thing to unbiased reporting on the incident available
