Did the resolution passed by Congress granting Bush* authority

to invade Iraq give him authority to invade any other country he sees fit or was it limited to just Iraq? I seem to remember it was pretty much a blank check to go after "Terra-ists" where ever they may be. If Bush* wanted to invade Syria does he need to go back to Congress for approval or has it been pre-approved? I think Kerry & Lieberman should bring this up and rescind this blank check. Until they do so I fear I can not support either. Bush* has not demonstrated an ability to determine the proper use of force. On Edit: I forgot Edwards and Kucinich as they are in Congress also.
that Congress explicitly changed the resolution to make it only for Iraq. That Bush's proposal was much more broad and Congress narrowed it.
Another thing I think was changed was that it put WMD at the top of reasons we would use force. That Bush wanted regime change to be emphasized and Congress forced him to prove imminent threat. Which is crucial now that we've found no WMD. Much more difficult to say it was not about WMD.
