Seen any post-California debate polls?

1. Wait a few days

One day polls aren't accurate so they need a few days to get a good sample. I didn't see the debate and most people I talked with didn't either.

2. I saw the debate

I was most impressed with Camejo. Arianna somewhat pissed me off because of her extreme Gray Davis bashing. Why doesn't she see through this right wing power grab??? Bustamante was straight forward and reiterated that he is the only one with a concrete plan to stimulate the economy. I ignored the others.

4. Yeah. And I don't think Arianna should be criticizing

anyone about the influence of money in politics. How's she funding her campaign? And to complain about Indian Tribes. She should have looked to her right and asked McClintock how much money the energy companies have given to Republicans. (And, McClintock, jezus, does the top half of his face move? Is he made of wax? He was like Stepford Republican. Someone gave him a pill and he started to repeat the right wing mantra. Maybe they get programmed like that. Is the Republican Party really a cult? Maybe the guy's parents need to intervene and get him deprogrammed.)

I also thought Arianna slipped up when Cruz said to her, "tell me what you really think." She replied, "I'll tell you later," implying that she wasn't telling the truth on the stage. Oops.

I though Camejo spoke the truth without spin, but played the roll of the grump. Also, when he says that he's for progressive tax and fixing the property tax problem, it'd be nice if someone pointed out that Cruz is for that too.

All things considered, I think Cruz came off as the most engaged, and energetic. The rest seemed warn out, and Arianna seemed a little loopy.

6. cruz sucked

and the tribe donation makes him look just as bad as you hope Repukes look...only problem is Pukes get away with it

Camejo was the only one with any substance, and he was spot on with his criticisms.

Arianna sounded better than Cruz.

McClintock sounded better than Cruz (even though he was a right-wing nutball)

The only person who didnt do as well as Bustamante was Ueberroth, who sucked rotten eggs.

7. Bullshit.

Camejo told the truth, but comes across as a crumudgeon. Arianna comes of as loon. McClintock looks drugged. Uberoth sounds tired.

Cruz was lively, has a great voice, and was highly engaging.

Even on the Indian Tribe question, those millionaires and whores for the energy industry looked like the pot calling the kettle black, and it allowed Cruz to point out that he was there for the tribes when they were destitute, and helped them rise (I'm sure many CA'ians are going to respect that), and later he also got in the thing about how he picked peaches and he knows how people live those lives. He got to put some pieces of the puzzle together for CAians wondering what he's been doing up to now, and I don't think it hurt him.

And it looks like viewers agreed.

Completely legitimately and ethically, thank you very much.

9. She's rich. And she had almost no tax burden.

I'm not saying I don't like some of her message, it's just that she isn't the one to be complaining about money in politics, especially if she doesn't want to talk about all the energy money the republicans get (including, probably, her ex-husband, who's a rich guy, and is the source of a lot of her cash).

And what the hell is ethical about this recall campaign. A rich republican bought it, and the media is giving the Republicans a billion dollars worth of free advertising.

This time the indians are circling the wagons of democracy and keeping the Republican cowboys out. Thank heavans for the indians.

I think the Indian is the friend of democracy in this case.

3. Nothing Offical

but an unoffical radio poll had Bustamante at 37% and Ueberroth 30% with the rest following. Ueberroth beat Huffington and Camejo? Go figure!

by creating economic chaos with the help of all their cronies, and then come in like they're the savior. That's Ueberoth's appeal. He looks like a stern father, a disciplinarian who's going to straighten out the problems.
