Live debate thread anyone ?
I have to admit - Kerry had some good sound bite quips on Chumpy's swagger, and "bring em on".

1. Edwards on right now
Just heard Moseley-Braun do a good bit about Iraq, and how Bush isn't even suppling the soldiers with the basics - I assume this is because of the privitization.

26. the whole trade segment was very well crafted, yes?
They threw Kucinich the BS about KMart to get a laugh. Lieberman decided to personally attack Dean on a technicality - Dean got caught with his wishy-washy sometimes pro-corporate, sometimes anti-corporate trade policies. Lieberman came off looking like a complete ass. Everyone was watching what Kucinich said, and triangulating off of that.

Fascinating.

In the primaries.
Dean won't stoop to Lieberman's level--he's not worth the sweat off of any of the other candidates' nose.

Gephardt's rockin now

in that exchange. He didn't win himself any Democratic votes with that underhanded exchange.

31. that's Dean's payback for his early attacks
I am shocked Lieberman went that far, I guess he wants to set up a Liberman vs. Dean. Now he's quoting the bible, getting the southern vote. Everyone is actually doing really well. The one male moderating pulled a very low blow on Kucinich, but it will get buried by Lieberman's low blow against Dean. Very interesting footwork on trade from Lieberman and Dean against Kucinich and Gephardt.

It's easier if all discussion is in one thread...especially if you can't see the debate.

I've already alerted.

Edited on Thu Sep-04-03 08:36 PM by Woodstock
Dean can't go higher in my eyes, and he did well, particularly on the military/UN question and the tax cuts/jobs staying in the US.

EH = no movement?

Also, I missed Sharpton, too.
