Poll question: On numerous occasions in 2002, Bush said "I haven't decided" on war
Edited on Mon Nov-29-04 02:41 PM by UdoKier
On numerous occasions in 2002, Bush said "I haven't decided whether or not to go to war with Iraq".

He said it after he demanded Saddam give a full accounting of his compliance with the UN's resolutions, and Saddam presented a huge table full of papers showing that they were complying or working to get to compliance.

Bush said "Saddam is not disarming" (knowing full well Saddam was not armed)

He also said it after he demanded that Saddam let UN weapons inspectors back into Iraq. He let them in, they found nothing, and still Bush said "Saddam is not disarming" , and that he hadn't decided on whether to go to war or not.

Even when he had 150,000 troops with carriers, fighters & tanks en route to Iraq, he continued to say "I haven't decided whether or not to go to war with Iraq."

Was George Bush telling the truth about not having decided to go to war?

2. Hey freeper who voted yes - YOU'RE A LIAR.
You just broke one of your precious ten commandments. You're going straight to hell, and God won't forgive you if you repent, because he doesn't believe your lying ass anymore.

Have fun getting butt-raped in the lake of fire by Uday and Qusay.

3. It's the core lie of the whole damn mess
It was patently obvious from the git go. Why the people didn't catch on to that is beyond me.

4. "There are no plans on my desk" - 6/02/02
GEORGE W. BUSH, PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES: This is a person who gassed his own people and possesses weapons of mass destruction, and so I told the American people, I told John, we use all tools at our disposal to deal with him. And, of course, before there's any action or military action, I would closely consult with our close friend but there are no plans on my desk right now.

6. The plans

were on Dick Cheney's desk, so technically he wasn't lying but I hear God don't care much for technicalities. Never have I wished so much that there is an afterlife.

7. But he SAID IT
And if we had any brains, we would have held him to those statements during the election. How can Congress vote for a war at the same time the President himself is saying it is not a vote for war? But nooooo, we bashed Kerry and let Republicans get away with their "voted for the war" nonsense.
