7. Sho'nuff, there's a few pansy republicans on this board too afraid to
fight in Dumbya's Oil War. It must suck to be a little weenie coward.

12. wasn't me but I did see him do well one time
When Mary Landrieu was on the show but other than that, Franken was right on.

5. Spineless punching bag patsy resulting from a Roger Ailes wet dream
I despise him as much as I do the ham-faced Hannity

6. How about just chosen because he's a token on the show
After all, they have to pretend to be fair and balanced (smirk)

8. Ok, which one of you dumbshits voted for...
"Alan Colmes is a mainstream liberal democrat, and a great counterpart to Sean Hannity's conservative wit."

10. Al Franken characterized him perfectly
in his book, Lying Liars, where colmes is written in subscript consistently. HANNITY AND colmes. Hilarious.

11. He was actually on Franken's show
and Al questioned him about his role on this show. He said it's the part he has to play (the wimpy, mamby pamby liberal). So much for integrity.

15. Just a sell out
Edited on Sun Nov-28-04 01:21 AM by FM Arouet666
A part he has to play, perpetuating stereotypes of the left to the amusement of the GOP. Integrity indeed. The more I hear of him, the more I want to :puke:

His book sales denoted that.

14. I think he is just a patsy......
Just masquerading as a liberal to support the GOP misinformation machine. The radio show I listened to last night forces me to this conclusion. Anyone who can sit there and listen to Hannity without wanting to thrust a stake into his heart at each smug comment, must be working for the other side.

16. Needs to be an option for "because he's an idiot"
He rolls over for Hannity. He can't debate, looks like a goon, and isn't that bright. Naturally Fox chose the weakest liberal possible so that they could pretend they were offering another point of view.

17. There's a liberal on H&C?!? *g*
I'd like to see Mike Malloy sitting on the other side of the table from Hannity.. now *that* would be a great sight. He would mop the floor with Hannity's incessant drivel and GOP spin.

To play devils advocate, however, I think that Hannity is so loud and obnoxious that any liberal you put next to him would look pale in comparison; besides, how could you get a word in else wise when dealing with Hannity?

I took the opportunity to listen to his radio show back when I had XM Radio and I thought that he was much more lose when he didn't have to fight for air time with Hannity (not much but a little).

18. I agree. Even Malloy would have to work overtime
to keep up with overbearing Hannity's simplistic talking point blasts.

Maybe someone like Ed Schultz would be better. He's not very liberal, but at least he's forceful and would have the presence to not be washed out next to the baby Jesus.

20. You didn't put up the reason I think he was selected...
"because he's a limpdick, pencil-neck...and if Fox shows him all the time...the sheeple will believe that's what all liberals look like."
