Time to take back the flag, too!
Since when did the republicans take ownershop of the flag?

On my motorcycle vest is a US flag patch, then directly underneath another patch that says "I love my country but fear my government".

Along with our liberal bumperstickers and magnets, remember to add a US flag.

Get those little lapel flag pins, too - when a repub mistakes you for one of them, just look suprised and tell them you're a Democrat. maybe it'll make them paranoid.

3. I agree, I do this all the time.
I fly my Democratic Donkey flag right below Old Glory at my tailgate before every Eagles game. The flag belongs to everyone though some choose to embrace the opposite of what it stands for.

4. We've made it a point to take it to every protest
The first time we did it we got some fish eyes from those we were going to meet up with. They saw it as a symbol of the right wing. We told them it was only their symbol because we've allowed them to take it over.

We've got a 4' x 6' flag and several dozen small ones that we stick in the ground around whatever group we are with.

5. After 9/11
we talked about going to the local city commission and asking that only people who were registered be allowed to fly the flag on their cars or at home. We actually thought about doing it after the stolen election in 2000. We approached them and they said it was a non-starter.
