UN Staff ready "no confidence" vote on Koffi Annan
Edited on Fri Nov-19-04 05:16 PM by leftyandproud
I honestly wish they would get this over with and clean house at the UN. Having a credible international organization is our only hope to counter the power of Bu$hco. These bribes and oil for food scandals are killing the UN's credibility. Both they and the DNC need to clean house this year.

1. But Bushco doesn't WANT it over with.
1) It keeps their base focused - "those damn furriners is jes' a bunch o' hipakrits."

2) It's been reported that more than a few American firms were in on the scam. The sooner they get to the bottom of it, the more likely those firms' involvement will be discovered. They need time to scrub the records.

4. And this is not Annan personally I don't think
It is no confidence of senior management of UN. And he is the most senior. But there are others.

7. remember bushCo do not like him because he is for the little people
and because he continues to mentioned bush crimes against humanity - so the bushCo is trying their crap on the un

I just came across a paper where a class I was in always made decisions and said WE made them - there was a handfull in a cliche who made the decisions - and when you spoke up you were made to look bad - it reminded me very much of the rethugs and their manipulations

8. he might be...but his behavior is shady
he is doing everything possible to block the senate from investigating...If he did nothing wrong, why the obstruction? It just makes him look bad.

5. I was thinking the exact same thing.
The U.N. needs to clean itself of the oil for food scandal and appoint respectable leaders out of the human rights organizations, so countries can't claim the U.N. is biased towards one nation or another. Then the U.N. can start addressing the 4th Reich here in the U.S. without having Bushco discrediting them with some pissant scandal. I fully expect the U.N. to have sanctions placed on the U.S. within the next four years, possibly the next two years.

The U.N. didn't renew U.S. immunity, which means charges can be brought against the Bush regime by the International Criminal Court and the U.N. Security Council may enact Article 41 of the U.N. Charter, which is sanctions, and follow up with Article 42, military force, if these nutcases get way out of control over here. The U.N. is positioning itself to take on the Bush regime over here. That's my opinion.

The only thing I can say... We've brought it on ourselves.

6. Geez, when does the no confidence vote for the Microcephalic Chimp...
happen? It's easy to point fingers at the UN, but the biggest and deadliest scam in the history of the world is rooted in the White House. How convenient for lil' George and his flying monkeys.
