1. Dean's not a centrist.
He wouldn't call himself that so you shouldn't. Kerry's a phony baloney money-grabbing yankee asshole.

Vote Dean.

10. How's Technomania--I mean are the benefits good?--do they give you dental?

www.technomania.com

Though I'm guessing that giving a proper dental plan to pimple-faced College Young Republicans would be against the "ethics" of the Cheap Labor Party.

14. Are Freepers disguising themselves as
Dean posters? This post speaks for itself on that theory

15. "Dean's not a centrist"
"I am the center" -- Howard Dean.

Yes, this is a direct quote.

16. I was just about to post that. Thanks, and welcome to DU.
I'm quite a Deanie, and an ex-green. Him being a centrist doesn't bother me, I'm much more interested in his effect on the democratic process. Also, civil unions are great.

2. Great post!

I am deathly sick of the Dean/Kerry flame wars. The more infighting between Democrats, the more likely the ass is (re?)elected in 2004.

4. Wishful thinking on this one, but....
...wouldn't it be great if these two just got together? Kerry could run for president, Dean as vice-president. Kerry does his time, then Dean would get a turn. Or vice-versa, I don't care.

:kick:

Regional politics wouldn't permit...
...would require a major departure from the accepted plan (although Bush didn't follow that rule with Cheney, so who knows). But there's no reason that ALL the candidates can't work to get Bush the hell out of office, no matter who is the eventual nominee.

11. Agree wholeheartedly...
I've been on this soapbox for a while. All these spins boil down to is that fact that these right-wingers are afraid that these candidates might actually be capable of winning.

12. Yes, Kerry and Dean are both acceptable choices
And I agree that the Reich is taking as active a much more active hand in Dirty Tricks, Fraud, and Spying than ever they did during the Watergate Days.

I don't think they even stopped their shit even after getting busted (perhaps Jimmy Carter got a Free Pass, at least until the October Surprise).

Now, of course, they are basically free to do anything they want without ANY fear of being caught, so I think the sum total of Watergate probably amounts to a small fraction of Total Rove Operations.

17. Excuse me for asking at this juncture ..but what does "meme"
stand for!

The zealots will try anything because they have nothing to work with!

A Big Fat Zero!

So we thought 2000 was bad with the Lies about Al Gore!

In the immortal words of Al Jolson and BTO ..."You ain't seen nothin' yet!"

18. Dean-Clark for Co-President.....
because it's going to take 2 extra strength leaders to fix the mess Bush has created in 34 short months. Let Kerry run SInternational and Dean run Domestic Affairs....
