Go Big W -- ride, 'em Cowboy!

"They're a little more compassionate than some horses"
-- President George W. Bush, explaining why he keeps John Deere "Gators" instead of horses on his Crawford, Texas ranch.

Quoted on "Sage Remarks" page of "America's Horse", magazine of the American Quarter Horse Association (March/April 2002, p 64).

(Yee haw, no big bad mean Democrat horses'll ever get the better of our Cowboy President Georgie!)

3. Horses more compassionate
All of the horses I have had the pleasure to own have had hearts and compassion leagues above this cold hearted *astard. I am really glad I cancelled my AQHA membership as I don't want to see that Bush name in anything I read again.

I am happy to know that no horses have to be subjected to being owned by or carrying the king. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr......

7. Hey!
Hi fellow horse person!
Horses, cats, dogs, hamsters, cockatiel - our house is a zoo and we are ruled by the animals. Good prep for the fascism to come, I suppose - ugh.

8. Don't tell him about her
I understand Goodlatte or Stenholm may end up as Ag Sec.
On the horse slaughter lists, neither are good for horses - only good for the people who like to see them on dinner plates. Typical for Dubya appointees.
