Innocent 8 year old inner city black girl ......... ? Who cares? It had sex. It had drugs. It had kidnapping. It had a horrible murder by a predator/sicko. But sorry .... no real public interest in *this* sort of story.

Where's the outrage? Where's our country's moral outrage? These stories are tragically common ..... but without a pretty pregnant wife who left a smiling photo, there's no real story.

2. National exposure or not

that bastard got what's coming to him, although I don't believe in the death penalty. In my opinion, he should get life without parole in solitary confinement, no books, no magazines, no phone or tv, no contact whatsoever with the outside world. Fuck him and all the sub human dirtbags like him. But you do raise a legitimate point, why didn't something like this get national exposure? We were discussing this recently about a case in this area where there was kidnapping and murder, including interstate flight. The three punks got life without parole as we don't have the death penalty in Iowa.
