Ok this is the first of three group suggestions, Kerry group.

We have a DFA, Clark, and Edwards group so I thought why not have one for Gephardt, Kerry, and Kucinich. This one is for Kerry. I'll post the others soon too.

that wouldn't be bad either.

i'm not sure about it though. i was thinking for now i would be happy posting Kerry stuff on the regular discussion boards. maybe depending on how things are a bit later i might lean more towards it.

because then it would be easier to sort. I am gonna post one for Kucinich and Gephardt in a sec. The latter I hate to say I dont expect to get much on which is a shame.

3. That's why it might be a bad idea to "balkanize" the candidates groups.

Why wouldn't our candidates be of general interest?

I propose a "general discusion" group, where such matters of common interest might be available to all.

What if some other potential candidate comes along? Would he or she automatically get a group? Would everyone actually check each of these candidates groups to see if there is some news about him?

5. So when does it stop, and what's the criteria?

Should Reverend Al have one? The most articulate (IMHO) candidate was Carol Mosely-Braun. Does she rate one?

I am apprehensive about this breaking up of forums in other areas as well. If there are seperate forums for say, food, music, and humor, who would go to the lounge? All the really interesting posts would be elsewhere.

BTW, I don't have a solution.
